ABOUT
Interior designer Claudia del Bubba, is born in Italy and studied Fine Art in Milan and Interior Design in NYC at Parsons School of Design and the Fashion Institute of Technology. She has lead interior design projects internationally living and working in NYC, Bangkok and Paris, specializing on high end residential and commercial restaurants and hotel projects.
In NYC Claudia worked on the design of apartment and offices in Manhattan at the architectural practice Peter Himmelstein Design.
In Bangkok, Thailand she worked as interior designer for IA49 architectural firm and simultaneously as assistant coordinator for UNESCO’s Asia Pacific Heritage Awards, an architectural heritage preservation programme. In Paris, since 2003 she was project manager and designer at the studio Jouin-Manku, bringing her expertise in the development of high end projects in the restoration (Michelin awarded chef restaurants) and hospitality business, both in France and abroad.
Since 2012 Claudia opened her own practice focusing on design of boutique hotels, evoking the person, the emotions and the environment in her designs. In 2013 Claudia completed the entire design of boutique hotel le Marcel in Paris, the first of a concept for a new hotel chain. Also, joining the NGO Habitat for Humanity, she has reach out to provide her services and ideas for projects in developing countries to drive environmentally conscious designs.
